I love this. It's not lewd or sexualized and you could say they're dating or just friends. Plus the added flare to their outfits is just so awesome because it does just enough to distinguish them from their child selves while not losing their identities and that shows in their expressions as well. Marine got calmer, but is still adventurous and Cream is still that adorable cheery little bunny you just wanted to snuggle and give all the headwaters. In other words, perfect!
